Maryland native Tom Jackson has been living in Texas since 1996, when he arrived in Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University. There he earned two degrees; Bachelor of Music education and Master of Music in Choral Conducting. He has been doing church music ministry his whole life, and professionally for the last 15 years. Tom has been playing the piano since childhood, and studied organ at TCU with Dr. H. Joseph Butler. He studied voice with the late Raymond Bazemore and David Brock, and conducting with Dr. German Gutierrez and the late Ronald Shirey.

Tom is also an avid barbershop singer; director of the Texas Millionaires, the Fort Worth chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and Bass Section Leader of the world-famous Vocal Majority, a barbershop chorus 150 men strong based in Dallas.

In his spare time Tom loves to read, do crossword puzzles, play video games, and collect various Horned Frog memorabilia related to his alma mater.

We are truly blessed to have a man of Tom's talent and ability to lead the Music Ministry here at Edge Park UMC.
